How this tool works

Shape your days

Choose your interests and pace. Relaxed plans allow around two stops per full day, balanced plans three, and faster plans four. Nearby places are grouped where possible.

Choose a comfortable walking level

Use Avoid stairs or Low walking to favour easier visits. These filters do not guarantee step-free access; confirm entrances and lifts with venues if needed.

Adjust and save your plan

Remove or swap stops to suit your day. Changing the main planning settings rebuilds the route and clears manual stop edits. Saved places are included where they fit your walking preferences. Bookmark the planning link to return to your settings.

Before setting off

Check current opening hours, tickets and transport for your chosen stops. The plan suggests an order of visits; follow local notices and allow extra time for queues or hills.

Frequently asked

Where do the recommendations come from?
The places and planning notes are selected and maintained by the Chongqing Trips team. The tool arranges them around your interests, available time and walking preferences, giving you a starting point to shape your own trip.
How many days should I plan?
Three days is the length most first-time visitors should book. Two is workable if your first and last days are partial. Four if you want a day trip. The trip duration calculator will give you a recommendation from your own inputs.
Can I save my plan and come back to it?
Save places in this browser and bookmark the planning link to reopen your settings. Anyone with the link can see those settings.
Why does the plan sometimes have fewer days than I asked for?
When we do not have enough places matching your filters, the planner stops rather than padding the itinerary with unsuitable stops. Relaxing the mobility setting or adding interests usually fills the gap.
Does it know opening hours?
It knows when we have verified them, and flags when we have not. Opening hours, ticket prices and reservation rules change frequently and our local team cannot guarantee real-time updates for every attraction. Treat the plan as a sequence and confirm anything you have specifically come for.
