Eling Second Factory
鹅岭二厂
Also known as TESTBED 2, Erling Erchang
A printing factory converted into a small hillside district of studios, cafes and rooftop terraces, sitting just below Eling Park.

Why visit
It is the least performative of Chongqing's converted-industrial spaces, and the terraces give you the river bend without the crowds of the headline viewpoints. Good for an unhurried afternoon.
Terrain warning
The site is built up a slope with terraces at different levels, connected by stairs and a few ramps.
What to expect
Busiest at weekends. Weekday afternoons are calm enough that the terraces are usable.

The wider Jiefangbei area behaves like this: The pedestrian core and riverside are different levels. Ask for the route between the vehicle entrance, reception and your room; straight-line distance can be misleading.
